Brace yourselves for this year's biggest battle of the realms with Star Wars: Battlefront. EA and DICE have confirmed that a reboot of the game is due this year and will be making an appearance on November 17, 2015 across all major platforms.
This online first-person shooter will feature epic battles with the forces wielding a-ok weapons and riding kick-ass vehicles on quintessential lands such as Endor, Sullust, Hoth and Tatooine. The game will have over 8 maps at launch across the four planets mentioned here. Darth Vader and Boba Fett will be the playable Heroes; more to be reveled soon. Additional content will be added as time passes by.
Apparently, the developer is trying to achieve a 60 FPS steady frame-rate by "using destruction where it makes sense but also working to create something that is authentic to the universe". For those who are concerned, the developer has assured that "it's going to look amazing on all platforms".
The Battle Of Jakku Expansion will be available on December 1st to those who pre-order the game. Others will receive it a week later for free, on December 8th.
