Just Cause 3 Revealed With A Nail-Biting Trailer

Just Cause 3 has been officially unveiled by Square Enix and Avalanche Studios with a nail-biting trialer. In the latest installment, our protagonist - Rico 'The Scorpion' Rodriguez - is on a mission to liberate his birth place - The Island of Medici - from an oppressor named General Di Ravello, who has wreaked havoc in the place.

The 'Grapple Hook' has been the signature weapon of our hero and it will be retained in this game as well. You can also expect a lot more weaponry, advanced gadgets and powerful vehicles. The world is huge and the developer has laid extra emphasis on the destruction and physics effects in the game.

Christofer Sundberg, Co-Founder and Chief Officer of Avalanche Studios said, "To be perfectly clear, Just Cause 3 will be available in 2015 for PlayStation 4, XBox One and Windows PC. It will be distributed as a retail box and digital download. It is not a free-to-play game. It does not feature in-game transactions.

Does that mean we'll release the game and call it quits? Nope. Beyond launch, we are likely to look into DLC packs and items as part of our ambition to support Just Cause 3 and its players for many years to come. But until that time, we are completely focused on making the best Just Cause game we possibly can. Rest assured, it will be huge with a fully packed and an extremely rewarding experience right out of the gate.

We can't wait to see your reactions what we've created. Just Cause 3 truly represents the next generation of chaotic sandbox fun. But just like real sandboxes, ours doesn't really come to life until it's populated by crazy kids refusing to let go of the red barrel as it's shooting across the sky about to explode in a sea of fire and...wait, where are we going with this again?"

The game looks really impressive from the trailer, which is said to have been taken directly from a console. The only disappointing news is that there will be no Co-Op or Multiplayer.

Just Cause releases on XBox One, PlayStation4 and PC this Holiday.

Batman: Arkham Knight Is Insane, Both Game-Wise & Price-Wise

Warner Bros. and DC revealed that Batman: Arkham Knight will have a Season Pass (much like the norm for any game these days) for additional content which will be available for purchase in two versions - 1) just the season pass and 2) the full game bundled with the season pass which they are calling the 'Premium Edition'. The first option is priced at £32.99 ($39.99) while the second option will burn a whole in your pockets with a price tag of £87.98 ($99). Ouch! That is steep considering that this is a no-multiplayer game. Really really steep!

Though the content that will come with the isn't crystal clear, the publisher tried to justify the price by explaining that "the game will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile Skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins and new drivable race tracks."

The price may be a let down for many fans and we may not see record sales. But the publisher trying to make a big deal out of this game must be something. The game releases on June 23 on XBox One, PS4 and PC.

With the explosive price comes an explosive trailer. Check it out below.

'Alan Wake' Remaster Might Be Coming To The Xbox One

Remedy Entertainment is in talks with Microsoft to make a remaster of Alan Wake and possibly Alan Wake: American Nightmare that might to coming to the Xbox One. This ball started rolling when Microsoft conducted a survey asking gamers if they would be interested in a remastered version of Alan Wake by insinuating a free download of the game if they were to pre-order Microsoft's upcoming exclusive - Quantum Break. Nothing is confirmed, though. This is all just speculation. The only thing we know for sure is that Remedy Entertainment is hard at work trying to make Quantum Break an impressive IP.

In an interview with Polygon, Remedy Creative Director,  Sam Lake, said, "I would love that to happen. Nothing has hapened yet, but we are discussing the possibility with Microsoft. I hope it happens. We'll see."

When asked if the game would also be making an appearance on the PlayStation 4 and Wii U, Lake said that it is "highly unlikely". But the good news is that the developer hasn't ruled out the possibility of Alan Wake 2, which it might start after the release of Quantum Break in 2016. Lake also revealed that if the game were to happen, it will probably be released across multiple platforms and not be confined to Xbox and PC alone.

"Ultimately, these things are business decisions. We are definitely not ruling anything out and looking at different opportunities, but nothing is set in stone at the moment", Sam added.

The developer also teased 13 minutes of prototype demo of Alan Wake 2 (which you can check down below) and that gives me hope.

What do you think? Would you like a remaster or are you leaning towards a sequel? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

The Star Wars: Battlefront Reboot Is Overmuch Thrilling

Brace yourselves for this year's biggest battle of the realms with Star Wars: Battlefront. EA and DICE have confirmed that a reboot of the game is due this year and will be making an appearance on November 17, 2015 across all major platforms.

This online first-person shooter will feature epic battles with the forces wielding a-ok weapons and riding kick-ass vehicles on quintessential lands such as Endor, SullustHoth and Tatooine. The game will have over 8 maps at launch across the four planets mentioned here. Darth Vader and Boba Fett will be the playable Heroes; more to be reveled soon. Additional content will be added as time passes by.

Apparently, the developer is trying to achieve a 60 FPS steady frame-rate by "using destruction where it makes sense but also working to create something that is authentic to the universe". For those who are concerned, the developer has assured that "it's going to look amazing on all platforms".

The Battle Of Jakku Expansion will be available on December 1st to those who pre-order the game. Others will receive it a week later for free, on December 8th.

The reveal trailer shows off the Sony PlayStation branding and a lot of other stuff that has got me excited. You can check it down below.

New 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' Trailer Explains Everything About The Game

CD Projekt Red dropped a new trailer that explains everything about their upcoming game - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'. The trailer gives us an insight into the developer's intentions and how this game is everything that it wants it to be. It turns our attention to the villages & its people in the game, landscapes, seas, temples, monsters, wilderness, story of the game, environment, graphics, gameplay  fighting skills and, most importantly, the effects that a player's choices have in this vast Open World-RPG. The trailer also enlightens us of the many adventures and events a player can opt to be big on.

The game releases on May 19th worldwide across all the three current-gen platforms (Windows, PS4 and XBOne). This is a big deal for Sony because the previous versions of the game were outed on Windows and Xbox 360 alone. And from the overwhelming response so far, this might be the biggest Open World Action-RPG game to release this year, which has a whopping 230+ hours of gameplay, if you didn't know (details here).

Though the release date might not be far away, this trailer has made the already hungry even more hungry. You can check out 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' Gameplay Trailer down below.

 So, how hungry are you?

Treyarch Studios Not So Secretive About The Next 'Call Of Duty' Game

This is a gamer's favourite time of the year as publishers tease the hell out of everyone trying to get them all excited about their upcoming games. We have already seen some great releases this year and there are so many more to come. It just got a lot more exciting when the game developer shared the above image via Snapchat, clearly signaling that the Call of Duty game this year will be Black Ops III.

Adding to our kick, Treyarch Studios shared this via Twitter.

And that ultimately lead me to a teaser trailer of the game, which I've embedded below.

From the teaser, I deduce that it will be pretty much the same - lots of action, lots of confusion, lots of fun! In any case, we will have more information on the 26th of April when the game is scheduled to be reveled worldwide. The game will also be up for pre-order soon.

"HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO GO?"

Official First 15 Minutes Gameplay Of 'The Wicher 3: The Wild Hunt'

We have lots of good news about The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. A few days back, the developer - CD Projekt Red - confirmed that the game has over 200 hours of gameplay and now we also have word of 2 DLCs that will add about 30 hours of additional gameplay. The game will receive the first DLC in the name of 'Hearts Of Stone' and will be available sometime in October this year. The second one is called 'Blood And Wine' which will release in Q1 of 2016.

Something amazing about this game is that it will feature Dynamic Beard Growth. Meaning that Geralt's beard will grow as time passes in the game. This, the fact that the time of the day affects the sky, the weather system and other tiny things give the game a heightened perspective and sense of realism. The developer is really trying to make this game special and it showed off some gameplay and its visual prowess at GDC and PAX East 2015.

We also got a glimpse into the first 15 minutes of the game. This might just be the most realistic looking Fantasy-RPG ever made. Here's the video of the gameplay footage. Are you pumped yet?

Square Enix Teasing The Next Deus Ex Game

A new Deus Ex is coming! Since 2011, this is the first time we've heard of the name Deus Ex and, lucky for us, the next game in the franchise is now official - named Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. From what I can gather, the game is for PC & Next-Gen only. There's no word on the official release date yet.

The game's developer Eidos Montreal confirmed that they have developed a new engine. They've named it 'Dawn Engine' and it is a modified version of IO"s Glacier 2 that powered the stunning game Hitman: Absolution.

Talking more about the engine and the screenshot above, the developer said that, "We wanted to share a first glimpse of what we aim to achieve, with a screenshot taken directly from the Dawn Engine. Keep in mind, despite any hints you may pick up from this image, this screenshot was only taken in order to display the level of detail and artistic fidelity that is possible with the Dawn Engine."

The producer and publisher, Square Enix, has been teasing the game this whole week on social media with the hash tag - Can't Kill Progress. The game will feature better boss battles and the combat will be receiving a serious overhaul. The game is reportedly a Stealth Action-RPG, where the player's choices will carry weight.

Also, a blood-pounding Announcement Trailer was revealed on the game's official YouTube Channel today containing dangerously high levels of action, dramatic background score and a very promising story line. The game is set in the year 2029, two years after everything that happened in the previous game, continuing where Adam Jensen left off.

Here are some leaked screenshots of the game, provided by GameInformer.

Some of these do look legit so they might be from the actual game. In any case, if the game is nearly as gorgeous as in the screenshots, then we might be looking at a blockbuster.

What do you think?

Mortal Kombat X Launch Trailer Is Full Of 'Chop Suey'

Ever since I started gaming, I've been a huge fan of Mortal Kombat. Why? Because it was the only kind of multiplayer my friends and I knew and because it was enormous fun! Imagine my happiness when I found out that I could kick some butt in HD.

The official release dates are April 14th for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and June 2nd on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360. It's nice to see that there's still support for the older generation of consoles as that seems depleting with every game being released. The game is developed by NetherRealm Studios for PC and Next-Gen Consoles and High Voltage Software for the Old-Gen. It is published by Warner Bros.Interactive Entertainment.

The game has tied up with the glorious Metal/Rock Band System Of A Down (SOAD) and their hit single 'Chop Suey' has been featured in the game's launch trailer. Moreover, Shavo Odadjian (the band's Bassist) is actually the director of the trailer. He confesses that he had a great time with the process as he is a huge fan of the game himself!

The trailer contains some crazy fight sequences with a peek into the Roster of the game and some nail-biting moves and finishers.

In case you've missed the official trailer, I've added the video down below. Enjoy!

Feast Your Eyes To This Stunning 1080p/60fps Trailer Of GTA V (PC)

The PC version release of Grand Theft Auto V is close, just two weeks from now. As if it wasn't enough that we were head-over-heels in love with the screenshots and exclusive first-person view, Rockstar Games teased us with a 1080p/60fps trailer of the game.

According to the developer, "Grand Theft Auto V arrives on PC with a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever." And after watching the video, that in fact seems to be true!

Here are the official specifications for the game previously revealed by Rockstar Games.

GTA V for PC comes out on April 14 worldwide. Until then, feast your eyes to this stunning 1080p/60fps trailer of the game.
