A Glimpse Into The World Of 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out worldwide now and has got some very impressive reviews. This is said to be one of the best games ever made, after Naughty Dog's The Last Of Us. That is a true honour and says so much about the game. CD Projekt Red has worked really hard on this game and definitely deserves a round of applause.

Here is a review roundup:

Gamespot            :  10/10
IGN                       :   9.3/10
Game Informer   :   9.75/10
Kotaku                  : Should you play this game? YES!

The developer released a new trailer showing what we can expect to see in the game and it is so good that it makes us want to play the game all the time just so that we can get to those parts that are shown in the trailer and experience it for ourselves. Here is the trailer:

I will be posting my review as soon as I finish the game. Until then, watch here the first 26 minutes of the game.

Stay tuned for more news.

Go Nuts: A New Assassin's Creed Is Coming

As if all the huge announcements this past couple of weeks weren't enough, Ubisoft also decided join in and ridicule us with a teaser of what appears to be a new Assassin's Creed game. Last year's game - Assassin's Creed Unity - suffered with an amplitude of bugs and glitches. The game was not optimized for any of the platforms which brought serious criticism from the fans and they are wondering why Ubisoft needs to bring a new Assassin's Creed every year. If it needs time, we will be all but patient. We just need to see the old glory of Assassin's Creed back. But I'm sure there's nothing to worry, fans. Considering Ubisoft is one of the most renowned publishers in the world, it would have made doubly sure that we get the best Assassin's Creed game ever made.

The above image was leaked a while back, claiming that it is from the new game. If we take the leaks seriously, it may carry the title Assassin's Creed Victory and will be set in the Victorian era. Nothing is confirmed yet, though. This is just speculation.

The game is set for a world reveal on the 12th of May, 2015 at 6pm CET.

Here's the teaser trailer for you guys.

Being an enormous Assassin's Creed fan, I am thrilled to my very spine. How excited are you?

You Can Download Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Right Now!

Wolfenstein: The New Order was a highly appreciated (and welcome) reboot of this year. It brought back old memories and managed to make fresh ones with an amazing overhaul of visual enhancements coupled with a great story to give us a jubilant experience. Now, Bethesda has announced a prequel to the game - Wolfenstein: The New Blood.

The game is of a standalone presence and is already available to download via XBox Live, PlayStation Store and Steam. Though the game can be digitally downloaded now, physical versions will not be available for a week.

"The year is 1946 and the Nazis are on the brink of winning World War II. In an effort to turn the tide in the Allies' favour, B.J. Blackowicz must embark on an epic, two-part mission deep within Bavaria. Part one of the Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Rudi Jager and the Den of Wolves - pits B.J. Blackowicz against a maniacal prison warden as he breaks into Castle Wolfenstein in an attempt to steal the coordinates to General Deathshed's compound. In part two - The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs - our hero's search for the coordinates leads him to the city of Wulfberg where an obsessed Nazi archaeologist is exhuming mysterious artifacts that threaten to unleash a dark and ancient power."

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will release on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in the form of disks on May 14th in Australia & New Zealand and May 15th in Europe. Or if you can't wait to play the game, you can download it right now for £14.99 or $19.99.

Here is the official launch trailer to get you pumped.

PS4 and PC Getting Far Cry 4: Complete Edition, But Not XBox or PS3

Publisher Ubisoft has announced that the Sony PlayStation 4 and PC will be getting a Far Cry 4: Complete Edition. From the image above, it is understood that this is like a GOTY Edition, which will incorporate the full game along with all the DLCs (The Valley of the Yetis Expansion, The Hurk Deluxe Pack along with The Syringe, Escape from Durgesh Prison and Overrun add-ons).

The most controversial thing about this game is that it won't be coming to either of the XBoxs or the PlayStation 3. In a statement, Ubisoft said, "The Far Cry 4: Complete Edition will be released on June 19, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and PC only in EMEA territories. We have no plans of releasing it on the XBox One." Why Ubisoft mentioned the XBox One specifically, we have no clue.

Eurogamer's Aoife Wilson said that Far Cry 4 was "well worth a visit, but it's more a backpacker's delight than a five-star island paradise."

The game releases on June 19 in Europe, Middle-East and Africa. No word on the regions outside the mentioned places yet.

EA Is Going To Keep Us Busy For Quite Some Time

Publisher EA and its development team at DICE is working round-the-clock to bring us the best games in the world of modern gaming. It has a bunch of upcoming games that has caught my eye and, considering there isn't a lot of time gap between the releases, we can expect to see them soon enough,. Here's what EA and DICE are offering.

A) Star Wars: Battlefront

Let's start with the reboot everyone has been desperately waiting for. Star Wars: Battlefront will test your enduring skills in a massive world of epic wars and battles. Latest news confirms that the game will have 12 multiplayer maps at launch and additional maps will be added by the way of DLCs. Moreover, these maps will be totally different from the game's campaign ones. Some of the maps will also support upto 40 players! You can find more information here.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be landing on your XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this November.

B) Mirrors Edge

DICE has recently revealed that it has already begun work on a new Mirror's Edge game. When the game was announced in 2013, EA said that the game "reboots the franchise for next generation".  So I guess it's safe to say that the game will be a reboot of the original Mirror's Edge, backed with a new story (specifically the origin of Faith) and gameplay enhancements for next-gen gaming. The game is expected to release in early 2016.

C) Need for Speed, Plats vs Zombies and Battlefield

2016 will also see the release of an all new Need for Speed game. There is absolutely nothing more to report. Plants vs Zombies may be a reboot or a sequel to the previous one. Nothing more to share here either. Information is absent at this point of time. The only positive news is that these games are set to be finished sometime next year.

A new Battlefield will also be revealed next year. EA has plans of bringing it out in the fourth quarter of 2016.

What game are you most excited for?

Dragon Age: Inquisition Free DLCs and more!

Inquisition owners, here's something to get excited about. BioWare has announced that their game Dragon Age: Inquisition will be getting not one but two new DLCs tomorrow (May 5th). These will be available for all platforms - XBox One, XBox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The Black Emporium is the name of the first one and it is a "premiere shopping destination", according to BioWare. Here, players will be able to get their hands on new weapons, accessories, crafting materials and rare items from Xenon the Antiquarian.
Tired of your character's looks? BioWare has got that covered too. If look around a little bit, you will find in The Black Emporium the Mirror of Transformation through which you'll be able to modify your character's facial features (first of its kind). As an added feature, you will also get two new thrones for Skyhold, accessable by those who player either Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II.
The second expansion is the multiplayer focused Dragonslayer DLC. Here, you will have the ability to call various types of dragons and go into battle against them (by crafting Dragon Call). Additionally, it adds a new Ferelden Castle and introduces three playable characters - The Fierce Avvar Warrior from the Fallow Mire known as Skywatcher,  Zither! The Virtuoso (who was originally revealed as an April Fool's Day joke) and Isabela, Raider Queen of the Eastern Seas returns to Thedas.
Jaws Of Hakkon DLC for XBox 360, PS4 and PS3:
Due to an exclusivity deal, the Jaws of Hakkon DLC was made available on XBox One and PC way back in March. And now, BioWare has confirmed that it is time for them to release it on the other platforms as well. This paid DLC is will be available on XBox 360, PS4 and PS3 for $14.99 when it releases on May 26.
Here's the official trailer of the Jaws of Hakkon DLC:

If you are interested, the Dragon Age team will be streaming some live gameplay from the Dragonslayer DLC over at their Twitch Account on May 5th, 10 am PST.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Releasing This Fall

After about 3 years, Activision has finally decided to drop a third installment to the Call Of Duty: Black Ops Series and the publisher has recently confirmed that it will be coming out on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this fall.

Black Ops III follows the footsteps of its little brother: set in a futuristic world where, as Treyarch puts it, "biotechnology coupled with cybernetic enhancements has given rise to a new breed of Black Ops soldier."

Be excited:

The game will feature a single-player story mode where you can have upto four players join your campaign missions. Also, multiplayer reconstruction includes Titanfall-like gameplay, which Treyarch describes as "a new momentum-based, chained-movement system that allows players to move fluidly through custom-built environments with finesse."

The developer is putting in a lot of effort to bring about a change to the Call Of Duty series and this may be a start. It cannot deny that it has had a lot of time. Treyarch head, Mark Lamia said, "Black Ops III is, without a doubt, the most ambitious project ever in the history of our studio." Hopefully, this will be thier best one yet.

For those who pre-order the game, they will have a chance to experience a multiplayer beta. The game may be launching on the Wii-U and Zombies mode may see some changes as well. We'll have more news soon.

The game releases on November 6th.

The Last Of Us: Left Behind Seeing a Standalone Installment on PS4 and PS3

When Naughty Dog released 'The Last Of Us' in 2013 for the Sony PlayStation 3, it showed the world that gaming can be more than just a person going around with a weapon killing thousands of enemies and doing nothing but that. It made us realize that gaming can also be about emotion, feelings, attachment and great story telling. According to me, with over 10 awards including the game of the year award, this Sony PlayStation Exclusive is the greatest game ever made. In 2014, the game got a DLC called 'The Last Of Us: Left Behind', that acts as a prequel to the main game's story, following the life of Ellie before she met Joel. In June 2014, a remastered version of the game was announced for the PlayStation 4 which included the game and the DLC.

Now, Naughty Dog has confirmed that the DLC will b available as a standalone download on both PS4 and PS3 systems.

Arne Meyer, Naughty Dog Community Chief wrote, "If you haven't had a chance yet to check out The Last of Us, this is a nicely priced gateway to checking out the world and characters so many people (and critics) loved. While part of the story of Left Behind takes place during the main narrative arc of The Last of Us, I think some of the best and most touching moments of any game in recent memory occur during the prequel segments, as we follow Ellie and Riley as they sneak out of boarding school to visit an abandoned mall, getting one final chance to enjoy their friendship before Riley leaves to join the Fireflies."

The game will be available for $9.99 on May 12th and can be unlocked to the full version later if needed.

Breathe Easy, There Will Be No Loading Times In The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 is probably the biggest Open-World RPG of this generation. That begs the question, can so much information be loaded onto the memory quickly enough so that we can have a smooth experience? And if not, how frequently will we see loading screens? Good news fellow gamers, the answer is NONE.

In an interview, Jonas Mattson, Senior Environment Artist at CD Projekt Red for The Witcher 3, said, "No, there's no loading times. Only when you actually start the game, when you die and load the game or when you fast travel. That fast travel loading time depends on ow far you have to travel , of course. If you travel just a little bit, it's a really short loading time."

"One of the goals we had was to keep the experience as fluid as possible. When you play, you don't want to have the loading screen because it takes you out of the game for a bit. We wanted to make sure that it was as smooth as possible, one big experience. For us, that was really important. I think we achieved that because, as you said, going in and out of a building, there's no loading time. Nothing. It just creates this really nice experience."

So there wont't be any time wasted on loading screens when you enter/exit a building or go into battle with huge monsters or or start new missions or even when you visit a new area! The only time your screen will make you wait is when you fast travel or die and restart a checkpoint. If it is indeed as the developer says and it actually works, this just might be a revolution in gameplay experience.

More news:

Though we got to see a lot of 'wow' footage of the game on PCs, footage from the consoles is extremely scarce. Non-existent in fact. To that, the developer assured us that it is coming soon. It had 'rushed footage from the consoles once and it didn't properly translate how the game looked', so this time it wants to make sure that the game looks and feels the way it is actually supposed to.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on May 19 on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Here's a sneak-peek into its epicness on ultra setting running at 1080p/60FPS on a PC.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass Early Details

Activision and Treyarch are hard at work trying to create a ravishing next-gen game in the name of Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. It tries to create a world where soldiers have been weaponized by technological and biological advances and the chaos caused when these 'weapons' get out of hand. The game contains elements of Call Of Duty, Titanfall and Crysis.

If you know what a Season Pass means and its trend, you won't find anything new here. It's the same £34.99/$49.99 and the details are still rare at this stage. The only thing we know for sure is that the Season Pass will include 4 DLCs, which will cost you $15 each if purchased separately. That means you save 10 bucks if you get the Pass. Or, you have the option of purchasing the bundle which will get you a $59.99 Call Of Duty: Black Ops III game and all the delicacies of the Season Pass for $99. That saves you $20 in total. We can expect additional content by the way of Campaign Missions, Weapons, Vehicles and Multiplayer Maps. This is all just speculation though. Zombies content may also be dropped sometime later. We will have more information soon and when that happens, I will be right here delivering it to you. Be sure to check back for the update.

The game releases on the 11th of June for XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

" How far can we push technology before it starts pushing back? "
